Race weekend lodging, walking-close to the start.

Private Augusta homes for athletes, families, support crews, and tri-club groups racing Ironman 70.3 Augusta. Our walking cluster sits ~3.5 miles from the swim start at SRP Park — close enough to roll a bike to transition the morning of, far enough to actually sleep the night before.

Why 8888 Masters for race weekend

Race-weekend lodging isn't a regular Airbnb stay.

You need a bike-safe garage. You need to sleep well the night before. You need to know your family can walk to the finish line. You need someone who picks up the phone at 5 a.m. when something breaks. Most rentals aren't built for any of that — we are.

01

Built for bike storage

Garages, bike-friendly entry, and indoor staging space. No fighting an Airbnb host about where your $8,000 tri bike sleeps the night before race day.

02

Walking distance to spectating

Our walking cluster is ~3.5 miles from SRP Park (swim start) and walking distance to the downtown Augusta Riverwalk where the run, T2, and finish line all sit.

03

Hosted all race week

Catering, transport, early breakfast, late checkouts after the race, recovery setup — handled by the same person who booked you in.

How race weekend works with us

From inquiry to finish line.

We've hosted race weekends before. We know what athletes need (sleep, garage, bike-safe entry, predictable breakfast) and what families need (a place close to the finish, room for kids, knowing where to stand at mile 10).

01

Tell us your race weekend

Race day is September 27, 2026. Most groups stay Thursday or Friday through Monday — tell us your dates, group size, and whether you're racing or supporting.

02

We match the home

Bike storage, kitchen for athlete nutrition, room for kids and crew. We propose a home that actually fits race weekend, not just a generic listing.

03

We handle the logistics

Bike transport to T1, race-morning ride to SRP Park, breakfast at 4:30 a.m. when nothing else is open, spectator transport to swim start. Just tell us.

04

Race day, on call

If anything breaks on race weekend — flat tire, cold breakfast, lost wetsuit, anything — call us. We're not a marketplace. We're the operator.

Who books race weekend with us

Athletes. Families. Tri-clubs. Support crews.

Race weekend is a logistics puzzle that's harder than any other weekend in Augusta. Same homes, same hosting standard — purpose-built for it.

Athletes & partners

The athlete needs sleep, breakfast at 4:30, and a garage for the bike. The partner needs a room that doesn't smell like chamois cream. We host both well.

Athletes traveling with kids

Race weekend with a family is a different sport. Crib, high chair, kid-friendly kitchen, walking distance to the finish where mom or dad will appear. Done it before.

Tri-clubs & training groups

Block multiple homes in the walking cluster. We run group breakfasts, bike logistics, race-morning shuttle, and the after-party.

Support crews & coaches

Coaches, mechanics, photographers, family — staying near the athlete without sharing the athlete's pre-race anxiety.

Repeat 70.3 athletes

You know what you need by year three. So do we. Roll in, race, recover, roll out — without explaining anything twice.

Hosted by Chris

The same operator. Race weekends, Masters weeks, every weekend in between.

8888 Masters is built on Chris's portfolio of Augusta homes and a decade of hosting guests through Augusta's busiest weekends. Race weekend isn't different — same homes, same hosting standard, same person picking up the phone if something goes wrong at 5 a.m. on race morning.

Every home in the portfolio is one we manage or co-manage personally. Every guest is one we know before they arrive.
